I found this photo as I was sorting through our washington photos from our vacation this summer. Maybe a little lens flare isn't always so bad-huh? I believe this was taken in the national park which is technically in Oregon. But these trees cover Washington everywhere. I miss them.

Beautiful! I think it's so neat that someone can go and live somewhere for less than two years, but in that short amount of time, learn to love it so much. I'm sure part of it is that it is the place where you were called by the Lord to serve. And when we serve, we are ultimately...happy. Anywhere where we have found happiness is a place we will miss when we're away from it, right? I did not serve a mission, but that seems to be the case with so many people.
